The rooms were small but nice and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great, with important tourist attractions and different subway stations nearby.
The shared bathrooms were a negative aspect of the hotel. Although they were clean enough, having to use shared bathrooms was not ideal.

Great location minutes away from downtown areas. Clean rooms with ample storage. Comfy bunks with outlets and USB ports. Clean bathrooms with plenty of showers and hairdryers. Friendly and helpful staff, some speak English well.

amazing stay at e-hostel shinsaibashi! friendly staff, comfy beds, and great pricing. loved the option of a four-person room. location was good for tourist spots. felt like home with privacy and the ability to cook. highly recommend this hostel for your osaka visit.

Great location near popular areas for shopping and dining. Within walking distance to Dotonburi and Kuromon Market, and conveniently close to convenience stores and supermarkets. The hostel offers a comfortable and homey atmosphere, with the option to cook your own meals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms and toilets are kept clean. Additionally, having a contact number provided for assistance after 10pm is a plus.
The walls are thin, which can lead to some noise disturbances. Some rooms may have limited space for luggage, particularly if you have larger suitcases.

I had a fantastic stay at E-Hostel Shinsaibashi. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Nagahoribashi subway station and the bustling Dotonbori area. The hostel was clean and well-equipped, with comfy mattresses and individual powerpoints for each bed. I also appreciated the provided dental kit, bath and face towel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of restaurants and coin laundry facilities nearby. I highly recommend this hostel for a convenient and comfortable stay in Osaka.

The private rooms at the hotel were comfortable and well-equipped, with complimentary towels, slippers, and toothbrush. the internet TV in each room was a great bonus, allowing me to watch Netflix during a typhoon day. the communal bathrooms were clean and never crowded, making it convenient for all guests.
The room I stayed in was quite small, which is typical in Japan, but it was a bit difficult to maneuver around when my luggage was open. the hotel's location was not easily found by taxi drivers, and it was a few blocks away from the nearest train station.

Limited walking space in the rooms and difficulty in fully opening luggage. Inconvenient closing time of the lobby at 11pm, but an alternative entrance through a side door is available.
